The launch follows a survey of school administrators that revealed a significant gap between the financial role booster clubs play in supporting student programs and the visibility schools and districts have into those organizations. Among administrators surveyed, 65% do not receive booster club financial reports on a set schedule, and only 6% have real-time visibility into booster club finances.
Booster clubs raise and manage significant funds that directly support school athletics, fine arts and student activities, yet they typically operate as independent nonprofit organizations with their own bank accounts, officers and financial processes.That structure creates a unique challenge for school districts: establishing appropriate financial and compliance oversight without taking control of independent parent organizations.
Without a consistent reporting rhythm, issues can go unnoticed for long stretches. One in five administrators surveyed reported confirmed or suspected fraud, theft or misuse of booster club funds within the past five years. DistrictHub was built to close that gap.

About the Survey
BoosterHub invited 100 school athletic and activity administrators to participate in a survey examining booster club operations, financial visibility, fundraising and oversight. Sixty-five of the 100 invited administrators completed the survey. The survey was conducted online in July 2026. Respondents included school- and district-level administrators from public and private schools, with 82% representing public schools or school districts.
